Modern Man Thermogenic Testosterone Booster & Fat Burner Review

Modern-Man-testosterone-booster-and-fat-burner-review

This was an interesting find; we found this advertised on Amazon, but couldn’t find it anywhere else at first. But eventually, we were able to find the company website they also sold this product from.

Claimed to promote:

  • Testosterone levels
  • Energy
  • Lean mass
  • Focus

Modern Man come in very unique packaging – even the capsules come in a fancy grey and white colour with the logo on them.

But we’re never fooled by the packaging; we’re only interested in whether the ingredients inside Modern Man can back up the claims.

We’ll take a look at that after trying to find out more info before about Modern Man (the company).

About The Company

Modern Man’s website looks very white and clinical, but also quite boring. We didn’t learn much about the company – their ‘about us’ page only focused on what they believed the ‘modern man’ was.

We were actually surprised to see that this company had a range of supplements available (as we’d never heard of them before stumbling into their ‘testosterone booster and fat burner’ supplement.

The Ingredients and How They Work

We’re also a bit confused after looking at the ingredient list for Modern Man’s Thermogenic Testosterone Booster & Fat Burner supplement.

Why? Because no nutrients are actually shown to directly enhance fat loss.

Not only that, we just don’t understand the need for caffeine in a test booster supplement – but we’ll save our final judgements for after we’ve finished reviewing Modern Man Thermogenic Testosterone Booster & Fat Burner’s nutrient profile.

See for yourself:

Tribulus Terrestris Extract

This isn’t a great start by Modern Man here. In a nutshell, while tribulus has shown to raise your libido, it comes with a worrying side effect – increasing your prostate weight.

As you can imagine, this is a bad thing that can lead to serious male health issues. As a result, we always recommend our readers to avoid tribulus.

Not only that, this nutrient hasn’t shown to enhance your test levels anyway.

Fenugreek Extract

Fenugreek Extract is the only key test boosting ingredient inside Modern Man’s testosterone booster and fat burner supplement.

Basically, it’s clinically proven to boost your libido and testosterone levels – which are clearly great benefits for this supplement.

It’s been dosed well, so there are no problems here.

Maca Root Extract

Maca can be a controversial nutrient; it’s shown to raise your libido, but hasn’t proven to deliver raised test level.

However, we believe it’s been added in Modern man’s test booster & fat burner supplement due to it’s ability to suppress prostate growth (which indicates that Modern Man are well aware of tribulus’ side effect).

We never like when companies add ingredients knowing they can cause side effects. So we would’ve preferred to have Tribulus and Maca both left out of this product.

Ashwagandha

We actually like this herb, but we agree that it’s not a key ingredient in any supplement. Basically, it’s shown to improve your power output (strength) and even possesses anti-cancer properties – along with being able to reduce anxiety and stress.

So as you can see, it’s a beneficial nutrient to consume. But as it’s not shown to raise your testosterone levels or help you lose fat – it’s not a great addition to a test booster or fat burner supplement.

But as Ashwagandha hasn’t shown to cause any side effects, there’s no negatives to having it here either.

Methyl D-Aspartic Acid

If you’re wondering what this is, it’s simply the methylated form of D-Aspartic Acid. However, no study has shown this to be anymore beneficial than the normal form of DAA.

But that’s not the only problem here; you need at least 2,000mg of DAA for it to work. As there’s only a tiny 15mg dosage in Modern Man’s test booster and fat burner supplement, it won’t raise your testosterone levels at all.

Caffeine Anhydrous

We mentioned at the start that we don’t understand why Modern Man has added caffeine into their product that’s mainly designed to boost test levels.

And after analyzing most of the ingredient list up to this point – there doesn’t seem to be any fat burning ingredients either (making caffeine even less relevant here).

To put this into perspective; pre-workout supplements contain 150mg caffeine per serving, but they’re designed to get you pumped up for your gym session. As the serving size for this product is 1 capsule per day, it means you’ll be consuming the full caffeine dosage at once here…

If you consume Modern Man’s test booster & fat burner supplement in your office at work – then you might be bouncing off the walls!

Eria Jarensis Extract

Eria Jarensis Extract has been used in supplements since Ephedrine, DMAA and AMP-Citrate has been banned in numerous countries. It’s classed as a form of stimulant that’s believed to improve your cognition.

However, studies have shown that Eria Jarensis Extract is equally as potentially harmful as Ephedrine and DMAA. We won’t be surprised if Eria Jarensis is banned sooner rather than later too.

As a result, we recommend you to avoid any product containing Eria Jarensis.

Review Conclusion

Even after looking at Modern Man’s website, we weren’t filled with too much hope. Although they advertise their products on their websites, they still only sell through amazon – we always prefer to deal with the company directly ourselves, but it’s mostly out of their hands on online retailers such as amazon.

But the worst things about this testosterone booster and fat burner supplements, is that it contains tribulus terrestris and eria jarensis extract; these 2 nutrients have shown to cause numerous side effects.

Ultimately, this supplement seems more likely to cause side effects than actually benefit you. As a result, we advise that you save your money and look for better options available.
