Nano Vapor Review

|

There are times when going to the gym can be a chore and you just find yourself going through the motions.

Every exercise becomes a real effort, while it is easier to skip reps if you are just not in the mood.

However by using a good quality pre-workout you can find yourself energized and focused ahead of your session, meaning that you can get the best results.

The benefits of taking a pre-workout include…

  • Enhanced energy
  • Improved endurance
  • Increased strength
  • Razor-sharp focus
  • Better performance & results

And in Nano Vapor, MuscleTech claims they have created the “strongest pre-workout formula we have ever developed”.

Nano Vapor looks to deliver focus, energy, muscle growth, strength gains and muscle pump every time.

The company

MuscleTech was initially set up as a mail order business in 1995 but it has quickly grown to become one of the market leaders in sports nutrition.

MuscleTech, which is part of the Canada-based Iovate Health Sciences International, has a range of products, including the Performance Series and the SX-7 Series.

Iovate is “dedicated to researching, developing, and producing quality, innovative, and effective nutritional supplements that enhance the performance and quality of life for our customers” – with the company going on to win various awards over the years.

Ingredients and how they work

MuscleTech recommends starting with one 13g scoop of Nano Vapor to assess your tolerance 30 minutes before working out. You can then work your way up to a maximum of three servings.

There is certainly a lot packed into Nano Vapor, with plenty of recognized ingredients for a pre-workout supplement – as well as one or two extras mixed in.

Citrulline, beta alanine, vitamin C, taurine and caffeine have proven pre-workout benefits, while it is good to see creatine added for muscle growth.

Although some of the ingredients are included in blends, the amounts are clearly listed out. This means you can see that a single serving will leave you a little underdosed on the good stuff. However you do get optimum doses with three servings – although you will have to assess your own levels of tolerance, while yohimbe is not for everyone.

Nano Vapor comes in two flavors, Fruit Punch and Blue Raspberry.

Vitamin C (As Ascorbic Acid) – This essential vitamin is a hugely popular dietary supplement. In terms of a pre-workout, vitamin C helps lower the levels of soreness and damage in muscles through its antioxidant properties.

Vitamin B6 (As Pyridoxine Hydrochloride) – This important nutrient helps speed up the body’s metabolism, converting carbohydrates and fat into energy.

Vitamin B12 (As Cyanocobalamin) – Like vitamin B6, B12 helps boost the metabolism and breaks down fats and proteins in food so they can be used as energy

Calcium – With calcium being lost through sweat, this mineral is added to Nano Vapor to compensate.

Pump And Performance Complex (L-Citrulline Malate, Beta-Alanine (As CarnoSyn), Betaine Anhydrous, Quercetin, Yohimbe Extract (As Pausinystalia Yohimbe))Citrulline is an amino acid that has been proven to increase endurance and reduce fatigue. Beta alanine, a modified amino acid, helps combat the build up of lactic acid production by converting to the molecule carnosine. It also increases muscle endurance and decreases fatigue, although the off-shoot is a harmless side-effect called paresthesia. Betaine, sometimes referred to as trimethylglycine, appears to have an anti-fatigue effect and is an osmoregulator. Quercetin, which is found in apples and onions, has anti-oxidant properties and was shown to improve performance in some studies. Yohimbe is a potent fat burner – although it can cause anxiety, gastrointestinal distress and hypertension.

Cell Volumization And Growth Matrix (Creatine Monohydrate, Taurine, L-Aspartic Acid)Creatine helps increase power, strength and muscle size. It works by storing high-energy phosphocreatine, which are then released during exercise. Taurine, a semi-essential amino acid, acts like an antioxidant to protect the body’s cells, while studies have shown it can improve mental performance (particularly in association with caffeine). Aspartic acid has a host of benefits, including generating ATP and stimulating the NMDA receptor.

Energy And Focus Complex (Caffeine Anhydrous, L-Theanine) – Numerous studies over the years have highlighted the value of caffeine in sports performance, with the stimulant works by suppressing the inhibitory neurotransmitter adenosine which causes sleep and relaxation. It also boosts energy and the body’s metabolism. Theanine has demonstrated cognition, accuracy and attention benefits when used alongside caffeine.

Nano Vapor side effects

As you would expect with a pre-workout, there is a warning to “consult a medical doctor before use if you have been treated for or diagnosed with, or have a family history of any medical condition, or if you are using any prescription or over-the-counter drug” and to “consult a medical doctor before starting any diet or exercise program”. Caffeine can cause symptoms such as restlessness, nervousness, headache, anxiety, palpitations and difficulty sleeping, while beta alanine has a harmless side effect called paresthesia and yohimbe can cause anxiety, gastrointestinal distress and hypertension.

Nano Vapor pros and cons

Pros

  • Clear list of ingredients
  • Optimum doses with three servings
  • Good taste
  • Includes creatine
  • Clinical studies into ingredients

Cons

  • Side effects linked to beta alanine and yohimbe
  • Expensive compared to others on the market

Nano Vapor review conclusions

Nano Vapor certainly looks the part with lots of the key ingredients you’d want in a pre-workout.

Citrulline, caffeine, beta alanine and taurine have some pretty solid evidence behind them, however ideally you want to be taking three servings to get the optimum doses.

However the downside to that is it becomes expensive to use – a 40-serving tub will last 13 training sessions – while you will also get a larger dose of yohimbe. Although yohimbe is effective, it is not everyone’s liking.

However if you can handle the yohimbe then Nano Vapor could be the pre-workout for you – with plenty of positive reviews from users online.

MuscleTech even include references to a number of clinical studies to support some of their claims, which is always pleasing to see.
