Stimul8 Review

Stimula8 is a pre-workout supplement marketed by FinaFlex. It claims to provide numerous benefits, such as:

  • “Unparalleled Energy”
  • “Endurance”
  • “Fat Loss”
  • “Strength”

However, this pre-workout contains more fat burning ingredients, than ingredients that aid your workout. It seems like a confused product, but we’ve analyzed its contents to see whether it’s still effective as a pre-workout supplement.

Take a look:

About the Company

Founded in 2008, FinaFlex aims to “focus on innovation” and create “high performance” products.

However, apart from that, there’s not much other information available on this company.

The Ingredients and How They Work

Unfortunately, there’s a negative straight away, after looking at Stimul8’s ingredient list. All of the ingredients in this pre-workout are part of a huge proprietary blend.

But you might be thinking, why is this bad? Proprietary blends are bad, because they only provide the overall dose of the whole blend combined – so you’ll never know the exact doses of each ingredient inside.

Another negative is that most of the ingredients are more suited to a fat burner, such as green tea extract. We’ve analyzed each ingredient in Stimul8, so you can make your own decision on it.

See for yourself:

FinaFlex has gotten off to a bad start here. Although Beta-Alanine’s been shown to improve muscular endurance, it can cause paresthesia in doses over 0.8-1g.

Paresthesia is a tingling on the skin of your face, chest, hands, and extremities – it’s not life threatening, but it’s uncomfortable enough to ruin your workouts.

There’s no knowing the exact dose of Beta-Alanine in Sitmul8, as every ingredient is part of a proprietary blend – so you’re at risk of suffering from paresthesia.

We recommend staying away from this ingredient to avoid its side effect.

This can be a key ingredient in a pre-workout supplement when used correctly. If clinically dosed, Caffeine can boost strength and endurance, as well as cognition.

However, here’s the problem with Stimul8 – Caffeine’s in a proprietary blend, so you’ll never know the exact dose of each individual ingredient contained.

As the RDA for Caffeine is set at 400mg, if you’re consuming doses over 300mg in one serving, you’re at risk from experiencing side effects – such as jitters, energy crashes, and insomnia.

You’ll never know how much Caffeine is inside Stimul8, unless you begin suffering from its side effects after taking it. Is it worth the risk? Definitely not.

Green Tea Extract

We’re disappointed that we have to give this ingredient a bad review here. Why? because it’s one of the best ingredients you can find in a fat burner supplement – but this is a pre-workout supplement, and it just doesn’t suit your needs in this product.

Green Tea Extract boosts your fat burning potential, but in a pre-workout, you want benefits like increased endurance and strength – to help you smash your gym session.

It’s a great ingredient, just not in a pre-workout supplement.

Cocoa Extract

Everyone knows what this is. It’s a bitter mixture with a chocolate taste, which is believed to improve blood flow and cognition.

However, there’s a problem with Cocoa Extract in Stimul8. It contains caffeine, which increases the risk of you experiencing side effects like jitters and energy crashes, as Caffeine is already contained in this product’s proprietary blend.

FinaFlex should’ve replaced this ingredient with something more beneficial, like Citrulline Malate.

This ingredient hasn’t been fully researched yet, but it’s believed to possess fat burning properties. This is a problem.

There are fat burner supplements, specifically formulated to promote fat loss, so it doesn’t make sense to create a pre-workout that competes with them.

FinaFlex should’ve simply made Stimul8 a specialized pre-workout supplement.

Citrus Auranium

Also known as Synephrine, this is a dangerous ingredient to have in a pre-workout supplement –  it’s been known to cause side effects, such as high blood pressure, irregular heartbeat, and heart disease.

But companies still add this into their products as it’s shown to improve fat loss. However, it’s strange that it’s in this pre-workout supplement, as it’s only suited to a fat burner supplement.

We strongly advise you to stay away from this ingredient in any product, especially in a pre-workout as it doesn’t offer any benefits to improve your workout.

This is a molecule that’s similar to Yohimbine, and believed to aid fat loss. However, this is a problem – Yohimbine was banned in the UK for causing serious side effects, such as anxiety, high and low blood pressure.

Rauwolscine is known to cause similar side effects to Yohimbine, so we strongly recommend that you avoid this ingredient.

Caffeine is the only ingredient that’s suited to this pre-workout supplement. The rest are more suited to fat burners, or are ineffective.

Side Effects

There are some concerning ingredients in Stimul8, such as Citrus Auranium and Rauwolscine – others like Beta-Alanine are less worrying, but can still cause side effects.

Here is a list of the potential side effects:

  • Paresthesia – a tingling on the skin of your face, chest, hands, and extremities (Beta-Alanine).
  • High blood pressure (Citrus Auranium).
  • Irregular heartbeat (Citrus Auranium).
  • Heart disease (Citrus Auranium).
  • Anxiety (Rauwolscine)
  • Low blood pressure (Rauwolscine)

Stimul8 Review Conclusion

It’s never good to see a product that contains a huge proprietary blend, but Stimul8 is filled with mostly ineffective ingredients as well. When looking at its ingredient list, the majority of the ingredients are more suited to a fat burner supplement.

We strongly recommend that you look for a pre-workout with more key ingredients to boost your gym session – such as Citrulline Malate, Creatine Monohydrate, and L-Theanine.
